Why Does My Knee Hurt

Knee pain is very common and when treatment is sought for the pain, the solution and cause, is often a long way from the knee and due to a global body imbalance.

Your knee pain is unlikely due to a problem in your knee, unless you just took a knock/injury directly to your knee, but due to a global imbalance in your body that is overloading your knee and creating symptoms/pain.

As a rule, never treat the pain ... it is only the part that has been overloaded by your body’s total compensation for all the accumulative imbalances in your body.

These imbalances are caused by accumulated stress from your life’s many experiences of ‘living’ from birth, and sometimes before, until today including physical, emotional, spiritual, electromagnetic, chemical and energetic stresses.

Together they cause an ever increasing amount of asymmetrical tension to build up ... which finally becomes too much for your body to cope with ... and pain/symptoms starts somewhere. Where the pain/symptoms start/manifest depends on how you use your body.

Still, remember that your body should be self healing, regulating and maintaining - it was designed this way but somehow it is not working.

Your knee is part of your leg ... between the hip/pelvis and your foot/ankle ... and it takes your whole body weight intermittently when you are walking/running, right?

What do you think would happen to the alignment/function of your knee if your ankle/foot is weak and unable to support your whole body weight intermittently?

There are 26 bones and 33 muscles in your foot/ankle area which may not be aligned properly because of previous injuries/stress ... rolled/strained ankle, wearing high heels, been stepped on by a horse, a fall/foot fracture etc etc and unable to support/maintain the true function of your leg and with time the joint in the middle, your knee, suffers and become painful ... makes sense?

Now, let’s go above to your pelvis/hip … the other end of your leg and the stronghold for the biggest muscles in your body that supports the function of your leg … or not, as it may be.

Your pelvis is the structural foundation for your spine … in the similar way that the concrete foundation is for your house. When the foundation is weak, trouble awaits ahead - it is only a matter of time.

Your pelvis is made up of three bones held together by superstrong and very slightly flexible fibres called ligaments. They should be superstrong, but if you have been sitting a lot and regularly over a period of time/years which is normal but far from natural, it is very likely that these ligaments are weak on one side or the other … or both!

Ligaments are passive and can not tighten up/shorten but when your body senses this weakness in the foundation it will ask the muscles in the area to help out … compensate!

Guess where these muscles hook up to ... your biggest musclesto your leg around your hip!

If your foot is pointing out when you stand/walk/run … ie not parallel and pointing forward, it is a sign that your pelvis is weak on that side. Take a look around next time when you are out walking ... how many turned out feet did you see?

Obviously your knee can not function properly when the whole leg is turned out and will become a problem unless it is already.

The solution can not be found within your knee, even though that is where most treatment is directed, but can only be found when both ‘ends of the stick’ have been evaluated and reset … makes sense?

When your front tyre wears uneven you would never blame the tyre but the alignment and set the tracking of your car and save the tyre … right?

You can probably by now start to understand why your knee/s hurt and explore/observe your four check in points (see previous post) about your overall body alignment. This is not rocket science but it requires your active participation unlearning to relearn AND then take action.

When your body’s basic balance and function has been reset, since shape governs function, you enable your body to tap into its healing ability again.

The Body Resetting Protocol is designed to balance your body and put you in charge of your future health and vitality.
