The Rubber Band ... Your Body ... understanding why they work and fail in a similar way!

'Pain is the last thing to come ... and the first thing to go '... but the accumulative effect of life's many encounters remain below the surface ... just like the moment before your rubber band snapped ... !

I am a visual person and I like to explain how the body works/fails by using analogues ... please say hello to your rubber band!

Imagine a rubber band without any tension because it is not being used for anything just lying there on the counter? Now, pick it up and hold it with both hands/fingers and start moving your hands apart ... pulling on the rubber band and adding tension/stress.

What will eventually happen with your rubber band/your body ... if you don't take the tension off, it will snap, right ... obviously!

Your body works in a similar way when you stress it with life's many encounters ... and after a number of years, statistically between 35-40 years of living, symptoms start ... pain and problems!

For some, the rubber band snaps earlier and for some later, depending on when the stress was first added to the body and to what extent and to a certain degree, how good/strong your rubber band is.

There are several factors affecting the quality of your rubber band, typically epigenetic factors and lifestyle including diet but the outcome of ongoing stress is the same ... pain and problems.

Hang on - isn't my body designed to heal itself?

Unfortunately when your body is under stress, the sympathetic nervous system is producing cortisol to help you survive/ 'fight/flight' and your natural state of 'rest/digest' ... healing, is switched off.

When your lifestyle brings ongoing stress without taking the tension off your nervous system by resetting your body ... the inevitable outcome is pain and problems as your body's healing mode is not activated long enough.

Yes, your body is designed to heal itself ... but only if it's allowed to rest long enough to reset and nourish itself.

Unlike when you take the tension off a plain rubber band, and the stress then goes back to zero, your body becomes accumulatively 'sensitised' when stressed and unable to clear the excess cortisol and the memory of the trigger, and return to zero tension.

The effect of this becomes accepted by your body as 'normal' and you get used to your 'lifestyle'. Your body adapts by calling in 'the reserves' but there are only a certain amount available and even though you might 'like what you're doing' - it is stressing your body and your capacity/limit is approaching!

When your rubber band finally snaps...you might experience this as a blown disc in your back, a hip/knee/ankle failure, a neck/shoulder/arm problem, a stroke/heart attack, chronic fatigue syndrome, collapse/coma or organ failure ... really just about anything.

Virtually any manifestation is possible when your body is unable to compensate/call in reserves/or stretch any further. Medically they usually have a name for it - a diagnosis for the part that failed in the end!

'Never blame the failing part ... never treat the pain', the pain is not your problem just the final manifestation of chronic imbalance ... the inevitable outcome without spinal hygiene!

Hence why medical treatment is destined to fail!

When you look after the quality of your 'rubber band' by nourishing your body naturally and practising the Body Resetting Protocol daily - you tap into a source of possibly infinite energy, health and vitality for healing.

The great news about your body, unlike the snapped rubber band, is that it is designed for healing and recovery ... making virtually any pain or problem repairable with time when you take 'radical responsibility' and practise Spinal Hygiene!
